Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): The outgoing MLA Paras Jain is upset with the BJP for not giving him ticket from Ujjain North assembly constituency this time. He returned to the city on Monday, but his anger with his party has not gone away yet.

He will be back on pilgrimage outside Ujjain.  Jain, who was elected MLA from Ujjain North for the first time in 1990 remained on it till date except in 1998 when he lost the election, had uploaded his letter on social media platform on Sunday.

He openly expressed that he had no regrets about not getting the ticket, but once he was asked, he would not have felt sad.  On Monday, he returned from the Mohankheda pilgrimage and performed Mata puja at his residence. He is preparing to go back on pilgrimage on Tuesday.

From this, it is estimated that his pain has not gone away yet. Soon after being denied ticket, Jain was seen depressed. As per information, he may stay away from the city for some days.

Before the ticket was announced, Jain, who also served as minister several times, was assured by the party leaders that he was being given the ticket and he should be prepared, but at that time his ticket was cut and state co-treasurer Anil Jain Kaluheda got the chance.

The 74-year-old Jain said that there was nothing wrong with what he said through social media.

Observers have also noticed his absence in most of the political events of the BJP’s candidate Kaluheda. Paras Jain is supposed to be the choice of RSS, but backed by state BJP chief VD Sharma, Kaluheda managed his ticket.
